Surprising how many more of these I've seen than the 1980 ones.  Still a few I need to check out though.  I've had Night School on my Amazon wishlist forever, and Sphinx looks pretty interesting as well.

I've seen all of these-except the last 3-on cable or vhs-none at the theater,alas.

SCANNERS is the best of the bunch. Though AMERICAN WEREWOLF and BLOODY VALENTINE come a close second.

I've seen 7 of these and enjoyed them all on some levels although Halloween II and Friday the 13th 2 shouldn't be as high as they are. Surprising to see Ghost Story did so well but I'm cool with that . Agree with the number 1 pick for this year. American Werewolf in London is a lot of fun. I too love all the werewolf films from this year.
