70's or 80's kung fu movie title..help

I have been looking for this movie title for years. I don't remember a lot about the movie but maybe someone can help me. It was an old kung fu flick where the two fighters that were being sent out to destroy villages and fight people were machines/robots. They were big guys wearing those bamboo pointy hats(I know that's a sad description lol but I was 12 the last time I saw this movie). I can remember fighters hurting themselves when they hit them and you could hear it sounding like they were hitting metal or tin when they fought. I'm starting to think that I'll never find this movie!

This doesn't quite fit with what you said, but the Clones of Bruce Lee has them fighting metal men at one point.  Whenever they hit the metal guys it makes that metallic sound.
