1980s film nurder/drama, winter, wife wants to murder her husband with dynamite

Some 1980s drama film about a young guy, 20s, who meets a woman living in a remote northern snow covered area.  She wants the young guy to kill her husband using dynamite to make it look like an accident; he ends up blowing himself up and surviving for a short while.  It's like Red Rock West but in northern Minnesota.
