I dunno, it looks like BATMAN BEGINS all over again to me.
I wish Zack Snyder would really try to be more original, and I also can't help hating CGI. I just can't relate to it.
But I also hope I'm just being an old cranky bastard about all this.

This is pretty much the exact opposite of what i was looking for in a Superman movie.

I'm not sure: there looks to be a few moments in this which hint at a major part of the plot making Superman the 'inspirational idea of good in the world'.  With that there will be stupid effects/fights and drama but if they can hold that onto that core idea this Superman movie may just be the one that I'll really enjoy: I found Returns too silly and the others a bit too cheesy and despite my general hate for Superman stories in general I think that this has the potential to be one that I'll actually enjoy.  I'm holding my breath in any case.
