Just seems like theres been nothing exactly mind-blowing, like say Pontypool or Absentia

The best horror I've seen this year were Banshee Chapter and Antisocial, the latter of which was pretty much Pontypool-lite, but because I consider Pontypool the millenium's best horror, "Pontypool-lite" is still very good.

Anyone know whether there's anything good I've missed?

For reference, notable stuff I've seen and thoughts:

Very good:
Dark Skies
Hypothermia
The Wrong House
Frankstein's Army
Antisocial
Banshee Chapter

Good movies I don't love like others do:
The Conjuring
The Dead 2: India
R.I.P.D.
Willow Creek

Didn't care for:
Hollow
The Purge
The ABC's of Death
Curse of Chucky
No One Lives

Eagerly awaiting:
Stranded
Shadow People
Come Out and Play
The Dyatlov Pass Incident
You're Next
Outpost 11
Rites of Spring
V/H/S II

Not wasting time watching:
The Last Exorcism part 2
Insidious part 2
Paranormal Activity
part 39874031967497-And-Infinity

Seems odd that this year would be the first without anything mind-blowing since '08.

I thought The Frankenstein Theory was worth watching.  Good atmosphere and sense of tension, the characters weren't bad either.

That's about the only one I've seen that's worth mentioning.

JUG FACE was my favorite horror movie of the year.
