Help with 80s/90s action/suspense movie

I'm trying to recall a movie that I think is from the 90s, but may be late 80s (or even, possibly, early 2000s.

From what I recall, a man crashes his pickup in a storm, where it ends up down a steep ravine. He gets stuck in a back woods shack with a man and his (seemingly abused) wife. The woodsman reluctantly lets him stay through storm (Several days), but makes him sleep locked in small spare room. While the woodsman is out hunting or something, the man has sex (in outdoor shower?) with his wife. The woodsman seemingly finds out, and really plows into his wife that night. At then end, there's a fight, seems like a bow & arrow plays heavily into it, and eventually the man escapes with the woman, finally getting his truck to run up a muddy hill, and leaves the woodsman to die ... or something.

Seems like at least 2 of the main characters- maybe all 3 - are fairly well-known, but I can't remember for the life of me who they are, or the name of the movie. Thanks in advance!

I saw Winter People a month or so ago and I don't think that's what the OP is looking for.

I would like to say this sounds very similar to Eric Red's Undertow (1996) with Lou Diamond Phillips, Mia Sara and Charles Dance.
