This one was probably made in the late 80's to early 90's.A man ends up at a place I don't know if he was from there but he did have a friend from there. His friend runs a place for young kids. The friend is into it with the street gangs that run the neighborhood. To make long story short the friend is killed(I believe he was)and the main character avenges him. Oh I think I remember a scene at a train yard I think but I'm not sure. Any guesses?

It's not that your description is vague, only that it describes quite a lot of martial arts movie plots!  :bouncegiggle:

Gee, I dunno...Only The Strong (1993), maybe? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107750/

Gosh, there were so many like that one in the 1980s/1990s. That was a good bad movie, regardless!
First rule is, 'The laws of Germany'
Second rule is, 'Be nice to mommy'
Third rule is, 'Don't talk to commies'
Fourth rule is, 'Eat kosher salamis'

The Dalai Lama walks into a pizza shop and says "Make me one with everything!"

No it wasn't only the strong. It had someone like Lorenzo lamas or Michael dudikoff in it. I think the friend that dies is older and has a daughter or niece working with him.

Hopefully I can get this one right for you: I think it is Street Knight (1993) with Jeff Speakman. The final battle in this film takes place at a train yard.

I've seen that movie back in the 1990s, and I remember the train yard fight at the end. I believe that is the one!

Look, Jeff Speakman in a train yard:

First rule is, 'The laws of Germany'
Second rule is, 'Be nice to mommy'
Third rule is, 'Don't talk to commies'
Fourth rule is, 'Eat kosher salamis'
