Might be funny, though.

Didn't we just get a Hercules movie?  That was also terrible? WTF Hollywood?

Yes, that looks to be a dud.  Anyone looking for a bad (but entertaining) version should view the 1983 Lou Ferrigno film!

Lou Ferrigno Hercules was high-larious.

I had to look up the hottie in that beach picture: Mirella D'Angelo.

Lou Ferrigno as the Hul- Herc man! Yeah, that guy.
Man I hope Rifftrax and Cinematic Titanic get this one. SO much material to work over.

Can't be worse than Legend of Hercules I guess...and it's from Renny Harlin.
He might have done some s**t in the past, but overall I liked his movies including the last one I saw from him "Dyatlov Pass Incident".
edit: Okay I confused them...the bad Legend of Hercules was from Renny Harlin and this one is from Brett Ratner...okay it might be worse then.

Looks like he has to fight quite a few critters.

If it wasn't for the Syfy quality CG, I'd say this looked terribly generic.

It does look like they're doing at least some of the classic 12 Labors.

Cleaning out the Agean stables. I can see the horses washing away with the freshly diverted river, and Herc saying 'Oh, S$%!."

Her outfit couldn't have hurt your appreciation. It is perfectly form fitting everywhere. And I do mean everywhere. There's a reason that the screen cap does not show her full body.

On the OP film, I guess that anything with lots of monster action has some merit. Still, I would like to see a director or studio who specializes in monsters to make a Hercules film.  Can you imagine Legendary Films making it?

The Erymanthian Boar is sad. Just sad. Not only because of the way the scene was filmed, but because it's just one more sign that present day man has forgotten his past.

One need not a boar that big. Not when you have anything from 100 lbs. to 600 lbs. of red-eye, fightin' fury.
A hide so tough that most weapons just bounce off it.
Two razor-sharp tusks that'll stab and slash as good as any man-made blade.
Able to crash through brush so dense a man has to cut his way through it.
And fast? Over short distances, as fast as a speeding freight train with its screaming whistle going full bore.
And with an innate intelligence has high as some men.

No wonder to take one on was regarded as equivalent as taking on a medieval knight in full armor and earned anyone that killed it single handed as much honor as defeating the said knight.

What have I got myself into?

I have less problems then some people with The Rock, and he'll always be The Rock to me, who is non-white playing a character that is regarded as being white.

And I'll have a report later on, after I see it. For good?! Bad?! Indifferent?! Just mention Hercules, and I'll be there.
