guy kills parents + grandparents 80/90's?

Trying to figure out this movie for years. At the the beginning of the film a guy kills his parents and grandparents who live in the same house. Im pretty sure it was for inheritance money. Eventually the guy confesses to his brother who is working with the cops and is wearing a wire under his hat.
