Even though neither of my first novels is published yet, I started my third one today.
Began it this afternoon, and got the prologue and the whole first chapter written today.
It's got archeology, villains, toddlers, armadillos, and ancient papyrus, with maybe a car chase or two thrown in for good measure!
I love writing!

Well, I've been pecking away since January.
A lot has happened since I sat down and wrote the prologue to MATTHEW'S AUTOGRAPH.
My first two novels are now under contract to be published, and THE TESTIMONIUM will be out in August.
And I just finished Chapter 13 of the new one.  150 pages in now!  I think I may actually finish it this summer.
And, already, the idea for my next book is cooking in my head.
I'm not sure how this happened, but sometime in the last few months I've begun thinking of myself as more of a novelist than a teacher. :teddyr:
I just wonder if anyone will actually buy my books . . .

I think some of us on this board have expressed an interest in buying your books, when they are published, if only to support a fellow boardmember. And congratulations, Indy, on your successful writing career so far.

As soon as THE TESTIMONIUM comes out, I'll be posting links to the sites where you can buy it.
I appreciate the support, but I hope you will enjoy the story for itself!  I'm entertained when I go
back and read it.

Forgot that you said you had obtained a contact, I was actually just about to respond to this thread saying you should self-publish  :hot:

Well, MATTHEW'S AUTOGRAPH is approaching its conclusion.  I am on Chapter Eighteen right now, I think it's going to go twenty, with a possible epilogue.
This book isn't quite as long as the first two, but I've had fun writing it.  I expect to be completely done by the end of July if not sooner.
