There it was, sunk within the Netflix selections like an ingrown hair- Airplane Vs Volcano

:hatred:

I might not have to bring up the fact that *spit* movie titles slapped onto *spit-ier* film ideas makes me mad in a way that I can't rationally explain but there it is: stunningly, zero-*flips*-given titles p**s me off and I don't know why.

I can't be alone, at least some of you must have had some movie, at some point, just drive you bonkers. Please, tell me I don't need (more) help!
Kleel's rule is harsh :-B

well as far as that particular title goes, I can see one quite easy way for the airplane to avoid the volcano, and that is to fly away from it, or at least over it high enough. or am I thinking too much out the box there?

as for movie titles that annoy me... I can't think of any but there probably are a few. I generally dislike really nondescript ones like 'Let Me In', but not enough for it to drive me crazy

Since Zombie referenced it, I do find the American retitling of that remake to be overly pushy and aggressive. The original film was "Let The Right One In" but apparently Americans are too dense to deal with a long title and it wasn't IN YOUR FACE enough.

But, no, it doesn't drive me bonkers.
