We're a crazy, eclectic, occasionally lovable bunch here at BMDO - but I will tell all of you this: my underpants obsessed buddy Trevor, my favorite sparring partner AHD, crazy Ronnie, pervy Jack, Webmeister extraordinaire Andrew, my good friend Alan, and my longtime internet penpal ER, and all the others of you whose names I leave off of here because it's 10 pm Christmas eve and I just drove 7 hours home from Galveston where my wife and I went for a belated celebration of our 30th anniversary and I still have sand between my toes and smelly seashells in the car and a Christmas tree that won't stand up because we lost a leg from the stand and my luggage still isn't unpacked and - wait, where was I?????

I've got a funny Christmas Story for all of you. I got my Dad a book about Nikola Tesla, I figured he'd be interested in it. I was in the middle of unwrapping my gift from Angie (Older Sister) but didn't remove enough wrapping to see what it was. When Dad opened it fully I told him why I thought he'd like a Tesla book. Mom, Dad, and Angie all laugh. I ask them what's so funny and they all tell me to open my gift. I think to myself "There is no way in Hell they got me a Tesla book."

Yup, Tesla related book. Thankfully not the same one I got Dad. It was a good laugh and a crazy coincidence.
