It does sound pretty funny, but consider Steven Spielberg. In the 90's, some psychopathic bodybuilder had made detailed plans to rape him in front of his family, and had tried to access the Spielberg house a number of times. When he was caught, he was carrying duct tape, handcuffs, a knife, and a diary that had a photo of Spielberg's head pasted on a naked male body. That's some scary stuff.

I liked Matrix, Point Break, and Bram Stoker's Dracula. Other than that I'm not really a fan.

Dave Letterman had similar problems back in the late 80s and early 90s with a woman named Margaret Ray. She kept breaking in to his Connecticut home and wound up doing 34 months total in both jails and hospitals for stalking Letterman. Before her 1998 suicide she switched from harassing Letterman to astronaut Story Musgrave.

Something similar happened to Hugh Jackman not that long ago. This woman was trying to collect his hair or something along those lines. She would follow him to the gym and was even lurking around his kids' school.

And speaking of XMEN cast members, Famke Jannsen once had somebody break into her house, he/she didn't take anything but left a copy of the incredibly creepy children's book The Lonely Doll on her bed. I don't think that person ever got caught, either.

Celebrity worship can sure manifest itself in some f*cked up ways.
