And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Good night Leonard.  Not just a great Spock, but a great writer/director/actor as well.  He was good in Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) and as Galvatron in Transformers: The Movie (1986).  The news doesn't surprise me but it's still sad.

One of the highlights of my nerd life was getting to see him and ask him a question during a public appearance back around 1982 or so.
He really worked the crowd well that day; it was right before ST3 came out and everyone was buzzing to see if Spock was going to be
resurrected or not.

He lived long.  He prospered.

Who didn't love LEONARD NIMOY?  Sad news, but at least he got to be 80+.  Good night, LEONARD, you will always be remembered.
