Customised endings! : For the critic in you....

I just had an idea. Woulden't you like to see a tape/dvd full of reproduced famous endings from famous movies.......where an alternate ending is staged? I remember the alt. endings of Supernova and others, and wondered if there would be any intrest in playing with the conclusions. Not so much the alt. ends filmed and not used , but reproductions, with the same set up and all. Like...oh...say, The smokestack falling on Leonardo Decaprio, insted of his bud, and the bud climbs on the raft with whats her name...and he pushes her off, and says, "b***h". Hows that for a custom job? Or, what ever you want......hum....have i read too many Mad Magazine parodys? Well....what say you? What would you like to see?

The Valley Of The Gwangi: The dinosaure takes over the city and kills everybody!

Charlie's Angels: Crispin Glover opens up a can on all three of them and kills them viciously! YEE-HAW!

Titanic: The Terminator is sent back in time to the Titanic to hunt down Dicaprio and his ilk. This allows the cool guy on the boat(Billy Zane) to get DICKcaprio out of the way so he can make it to the rescue boat with Winslet. Thus allowing him to hook up with her. This inturn leads to him becoming even richer and he takes over the world!

The studio switched the ending of Hitch's film "Topaz" by piecing together the ending they wanted when he wouldn't film it. Terry Gilliam says one of the reasons he has the shots and scenes he wants planned out long before he shoots a film is to make it difficult for others to re-edit or mess with the film he wants to make. Makes sense since he got stung so badly by the studio with "Brazil".

OTOH, if I could customize an ending:

At the end of "Total Recall", Quaid would wake up back in the Recall offices for real and the staff would explain that they were done. He walks out at first confused but then with a wry smile on his face. After he has left, one of the staff looks at the others and says, "Another satisfied customer. Who's next?" The End.

Heres one. San Diago P.D. opens up on the T-Rex with shotguns and 40. cal Barettas, and blow it ass away. The final scene is of Malcom AND  the head Capitalist pig being being stabbed to death by the deranged parent of one of the T-Rex's victims, at a press confrence, while CNN reports on the naval bombardment of the Island full of meateaters. But, thats just me.
