I am going here: www.nationalartsfestival.co.za where we (specifically me) will be screening the SA classics Katrina (1969) and Jannie Totsiens (1970): the latter being South Africa's first horror film.

Leaving on Thursday next week: I hear it will be freezing in Grahamstown as it usually is around this time.

Everyone and I do mean everyone told me in 2013 that it would be cold and rainy there: even the guy across the aisle from me on the plane said so: it was cool - no more than that.

Just done my laundry: squeeze out undies and pack 'em.

I got back yesterday: it was freezing and with a windchill factor that made me wish for more patches on me undies.

Otherwise, I enjoyed it and Jans Rautenbach's Abraham is a truly amazing film.
