Hmm, never heard of this alternate title; just KISS MEETS THE PHANTOM OF THE PARK.
I remember when that came out but I was too young to really understand much of it.  I thought they were clowns or something.

I've been watching it, about 10 minutes at a time.  I love ANTHONY ZERBE.  Uhm, it is embarrassing.  And so bad, 10 minutes is enough. 
It is so BAD, I am growing to LOVE it.  Emphasis on "it".

The "Attack of the Phantoms" title was used for its theatrical release overseas.

....yes, believe it or not, KISS fans outside of the U.S. had to pay good money to sit thru this turd burger in a movie theater. I bet THEY were p*ssed.

At least in America, it ran on TV for free so our suffering didn't cost us anything except time!! :D

My daughter and I love this movie!  I can see how maybe a hardcore KISS fan trying to maintain some idea that KISS is a group of macho tough guys might be embarrassed by it.  However, coming at it as a parent wanting to watch a movie that will blow a kids mind and be highly entertaining, I think it's GOLD!
