Everyone thank me; I just stopped the Apocalypse.

There was a Best Western in Davenport, Iowa I stayed in one time where all the first floor rooms started with the number 4, and all the second floor rooms started with number 6.  This was a two story hotel.  Guess which room I got?  Yep.  666. 

I think the hotel owner was from a culture that considered 4 and 6 to be lucky.  I was making jokes most of the night but otherwise didn't really let my room assignment bother me at all and I had no problems with the room.  The room was actually pretty good considering the hotel was a somewhat older property (I think it was built in the 1970s).

For real...I have found a steak at Wallmart, a package at the mail room, and a Kroger lunch meat sale with the prices of $6.66.

I was a cashier at Wally World 20 years ago and there was one time when a guy's purchases came right up to six dollars and sixty six cents.  He gave me exact change so instead of just hitting the cash button I entered 6.66 and then hit the cash button.   We had a good laugh over it.
