Bah, you mentioned Shatner. Now I have an urge to watch Kingdom of the Spiders again.

not seen that one, sounds craptastic!

talking of Shatner has anyone seen AMERICAN PSYCHO 2? one of the very few legitimately 'so bad it's good' movies of the post 2000 era, imo

My gran had a copy of it on VHS which I once watched with her. It has the finest overacting I have ever seen from Shatner, far outstripping such classics as his performance in The Twilight Zone or indeed The Devil's Rain.

Watch and enjoy a true master of his art at work.

Kingdom of the Spiders is great. I haven't seen American Psycho 2 but Groom Lake is a fantastic post-2000 Shatner. Directed by the man himself, and based on one of his ridiculous sci-fi novels. Check out the highlights if you're intrigued:

nice, will check that later.

watched Kingdom Of Spiders last night on that dailymotion link. I have to say it's no Empire Of The Ants but I did get a kick out of the badness. there was one scene where Shatner looked bizarrely like Oliver Reed, never thought they looked that similar before.

time to dust off my TJ Hooker box set now. what I especially love about that show is how Hooker will finish a hard day on the beat by sinking a few whiskeys at the local bar then drive back home - without a seatbelt !

that's pretty cool you got a book published
