Which of these iconic 70's comedies do you like more?  You can state your pick and reasons,  but please don't explain why someone else's view is 'wrong'.

It's kinda tough,  both have merits,  good acting,  funny moments,  good scenes,  etc.

In the end,  the campfire scene edges out anything in Animal House.

BLAZING SADDLES.
I don't like collage movies or John Belushi, soooo...

Shouldn't this be in the movies section?

It feels like being naked in the kitchen or eating in the bathroom.
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)

As much as I love both movies, it has to be Blazing Saddles for me. Lines like "Somebodies got to go back and get a s**t load of dimes" gets me every time I watch it.

Saddles, every time.
"Mongo only pawn...in game of life."
"I didn't get a Harumph outta that guy!"
"Candy Gram for Mongo."
"Kinky..."
Now I feel like eating...beans.
"Aggressivlly eccentric, and proud of it!"

Is there anyone left here who'd be shocked to know I've never seen either? Honestly, why DO you guys let me come here?
What does not kill me makes me stranger.

Right, get you and your husband over here in a plane next week. I am going to sit you both in the man cave and make you watch movies constantly.

Perhaps because neither is a bad movie.  Though one could argue they are "bad".  I might, since both are infamous for bad taste.

Blazing Saddles. I didn't see Animal House until after I had heard a lot about it. So, by the time I saw it I had already heard people talk about the funniest parts many times. So they didn't seem very funny to me. Over the years, I have come to enjoy Animal House more and more. But I still have to vote for Blazing Saddles.
