LotG was a one season show, but a lot of good shows last one season, like UFO, nightmare cafe, malcolm mcdowell's fantast island reboot, etc. Then again some series lasted one season too long.

Can't say I was very fond of LotG but the cast wasn't the problem.

It did. From 1968-1970. Another of Irwin Allen's TV programs. It wasn't something I watched on a regular basis, but I do remember watching a couple of episodes or so. If I had been older at the time, I might have watched it more frequently, as it had some great guest stars from other TV shows on the show.
