On work days, I set my alarm for 4:30 a.m., put the news on TV, then reset my alarm for 6:30. I lie in bed drifting in and out of sleep while listening to the news in the background.

On weekends I don't set an alarm, but I usually get up between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m.
