Private Joker

What's the funniest joke you've ever seen in the credits to a movie?  I think that the funniest credits I've ever seen are in the end of that movie Wrongfully Accused.  (Bad movie, but great credits.)

Replies?

Steven Millan

The absolute best in funniest credits is "Terror Firmer",where every credit is set up to make you laugh so loudly that you'll fall out of your seat.
Now,no other movie can beat that one when it comes to that mere department.

At the very end of the "Hot Shots!" credits: If you'd left the theater when these credits began you'd be home by now.

Naked Gun

Grip-
Assistant Grip-
Best Boy Grip-
WHat the hell is a grip?!

Another Troma flick, WHEN NATURE CALLS has pretty funny credits too.

I think the Naked Gun movies had a joke in them with this:

Best boy: *
Worst boy: Adolf Hitler

*I forgot the listing for best boy.

Offthewall

I think it was either Naked Gun, Wrongfully Accused or Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (maybe all 3) that had a "This Space for Rent" right in the middle of the opening Credits.

That would be attack of the killer tomatoes
great movie.
There was a phone number in there too that at one point was for some company and they got so many calls they had to change the number of the company. Or so I heard.

The "Animaniacs" used  to have in their credits someone named "Kathryn Page" who was always credited with something strange like "babysitter" or "back hoe operator"

A list is http://home.eunet.no/~rfyri/Animaniacs/page.html>the many, many jobs of Kathryn Page

The Bard

Monty Python's Holy Grail. Do I really have to give the quotes?

Mofo Rising

In the very last part of the credits for PHANTASM II, there's something that goes like this.

This movie is protected by U.S. copyright laws.  Any person who breaks these shall incur the full penalty of law and the wrath of the Tall Man.

I always thought that was pretty funny.

I don't think the legal disclaimer at the end of Bad Taste would count, would it?

Brian Ringler

I like at the end of cannibal the musical where they say that children shouldn't have watched the previous film

I've got the End-all, Be-all: MST3K: The Movie. Mike and the 'bots riff on the credits, making fun of the people they work with. And then Servo says, "If you are unsatisfied with the previous film please return the unused portion for a full refund.", with about 2 miliseconds left.

John Morgan

The TV shows Hercules and Xena always had a funny disclaimer in the credits.  In the episode where Hercules fought a giant serpent it read:

"No Giant labyrinth snakes were harmed during the filming of this motion picture."

In the episode were they were somehow all in France and spoke with French accents:

"No fake French accents, though horribly mangled, were harmed during the filming of this motion picture."
