I took a clippers and gave myself a good buzz cut today.  No guard so it's pretty much all gone now.  I'm going to let it grow back.

I was just curious what it'd look like if I did that now that I've lost a bunch of weight and my head is shaped differently now.  I did shave my head for a while about 13 years ago but it didn't work well with the way my head was shaped before surgery and I got tired of the shaving so I decided to let it grow back.

Of course when my mom sees my new hairstyle....

I've been meaning to give myself an 'annual haircut', but there's rumors of another film festival coming up...

Well she didn't get as bent out of shape as I thought she would about the hair coming off.  She was like, meh, ok.

I shaved my head once.
I was horrified- I looked like a mad doctor.

I hated it when I had to shave my head for the army.  I looked horrible.  As soon as I was allowed to grow it out longer, I did.

I gave myself a buzz cut about 20 years ago. Best thing I ever did. Very easy to maintain in any weather.

I'd always promised myself if I started to go bald I would just shave it all off rather than be one of the guys who desperately tries to pretend he still has a full head of hair, so earlier this year when my little brother asked why I had a bald spot I thought "Right, its time for it all to come off". I do miss the days when I used to have really long hair though.

I shaved my head twice. First time was because I thought I had lice and kinda, slightly overreacted. The second time was.....I actually forgot why I shaved it then.
yeah no.

When I asked my friend "... is my hair sticking up?" he replied "Is that what you call that?"  I buzzed my head the next day.  That was at least 10 years ago, probably longer.  I didn't worry much about what nature gave me, but I have liked keeping it buzzed close ever since.  I no longer have ostrich feathers.
