CITY OF THE DEAD (aka HORROR HOTEL 1960) on TCM at 1:15am EST ~ NOW

I watched all of it.  Of course, I grew up with that one.  Perfect Halloween viewing, very creepy.  VENETIA STEVENSON gets dressed to leave her room and join the dancers she saw in the "Inn" and suddenly the music stops and no one is there, just dancing firelight and clock ticking.  Cool.

Love this movie.
"Leave Whitewood! Leave tonite! I beg of you! Leave before it's too late!"
I'd get the f**k out.
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

TCM showed the "uncut" English release, including original title (CITY OF THE DEAD) at last night's showing, but it was scheduled as HORROR HOTEL.  This version includes the full speech the witch gives at the beginning before she's burned (all this "serve you 'til the end of time Satan" and hold "black mass" sh!t) which was cut from the American release, and all USA broadcasts back in the day.

That's the version I have from Sinister Cinema. I bought it in 1995. It's in a cool clamshell box!
The name on the box is HORROR HOTEL, but the opening title on screen is CITY OF THE DEAD.
