Lucifer should be bringing his light to Netflix soon,  possibly  in april.

A new villain should appear,  named Eve.
The doctor that circumcised Trump threw away the wrong piece.

ER

Boring one-note series with a predictable A+B=C formula. It takes a lot to make Lucifer dull but somehow they managed.

Also silly and an insult to the source material.

But above all predictable. So predictable.

Kinda reminds me of Touched By An Angel or The Ghost Whisperer, one central idea repackaged as many ways as possible. Like simple Thomas Kincaid paintings, except not as imaginative.

A couple episodes of Lucifer I saw were repackaged from back in '09 on The Sarah Connor Chronicles, subbing the devil for a terminator. Or it sure seemed like it. Though the SCC were less cartoonish.

But I will say one nice thing about Lucifer, it makes the offerings on TVLand seem fresh.

Okay, two nice things, when you watch Lucifer you always know what you're getting into, no twists or surprises.

So it should be in good company on Netflix.

Wait, I'm not yet done.

It's like someone who never read the brilliant source material in the graphic novels featuring a character so cool he upstaged the Sandman, took their version of Lucifer and stuck him in a live-action cartoon that's sometimes accidentally hilarious for the wrong reasons, and has the shallowness of the devil from National Lampoon's old Son 'o God strip. LOL

I tried to like this show and was excited to hear Mr. Morningstar was being brought to the small screen, but by the toe of Beelzebub it's one of the the most trite examples of how to get everything wrong I've ever seen.

I'd give it an F for effort, a D- for execution, and a bill for wasting my time.
