Saw this last night. The best and most entertaining movie of the year, so far. 5/5. Every seat was sold out.

A famous and wealthy mystery writer dies on his 85th birthday of an apparent suicide, but a private detective hired by an unknown party suspects murder. There's a neat gimmick where one of the suspects is physically incapable of lying. Brilliantly written and acted, and also one of the funniest movies of the year. Please pull Rian Johnson off STAR WARS so he can make more like this.

A little bit of political content, but you'd have to be the snowflakiest alt-righter to be triggered by it.

There is, naturally, at least one or two little credibility stretches in the plot, but I had little difficulty suspending disbelief.

Very true to Agatha Christie's spirit. Whodunnits like this don't come along very often.

Yeah, I saw this too. It's not my favorite film of the year but it's worth a watch in my opinion.
It has pretty wide appeal and is very accessible, I think most people that watch it will like it.

My wife and I both loved it!
