The Silence of The Lambs film:

Clarice: "Did you do all the drawings on your walls, Doctor?"
Lecter: "Ah, that is the Duomo seen from the Belvedere. You know Florence?

Book:

Clarice: "Did you do all the drawings on your walls, Doctor?"
Lecter: "Do you  think I called in a decorator?"  :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle:

First Blood book (not in the film)

Rambo has escaped from the cops naked and has run into moonshiners.

Son: "Paw, he's a Fed!"
Paw: "Pssshht. Where's he gonna hide a badge?"  :teddyr: :teddyr:
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

The Burgomaster

I can't think of any specific examples at the moment, but Stephen King's books often have some funny lines that never make it into the movies. His books also have really scary parts that are left out of the movies. too (which really baffles me).

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."
