That's come a long way: the Afrikaans phrase "nou nou" [pronounced no no] means I will come over or do something shortly or asap whichever applies. I deal with clients and if I say I will help them now, I mean now, not later. Those now-now or just now phrases don't come out of my mouth a lot.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.
