Because some quirk in my maternal DNA mandates that fun must be balanced out by tedium, before I let them go eat more ice cream than a tonsillectomy patient and merrily blow stuff up, I always read the Declaration of Independence to my offspring, though if they do a good enough job faking attentiveness I skip naming the signers and don't have a quiz afterward.


Today at noon we're going to destroy last month's burner phone with actual dynamite. Oooooh....ahhhh!
