Not sure what illness she had, but she had recently had a liver transplant. I always found her attractive (the kind of gal who looks good with way too much makeup on), and I remember her most from MYSTERIOUS SKIN.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Very bummed to hear this. My wife and I loved the "Buffy" TV series, and Michelle definitely gave the show a shot in the arm when she arrived in Season 5.

She was also good in the 2006 "Black Xmas" remake (which, unpopular opinion, I prefer over the 1974 original). I think the last thing I saw her in was Kevin Smith's "Cop Out," where she played Bruce Willis' daughter.

Sad news! Well at least she had those twenty years she wouldn't have if Buffy hadn't rescued her from Joel Grey.
