This is a great movie. Not much gore but a lot of goofy songs and jokes. South Park doing Blazing Saddles doing Alive.

I just finished a short synopsis/review on my site and one thing keeps bothering me: There is a scene involving a snowman. In the background for a few seconds, the snowman has an alien-shaped head.  In the saloon brawl, you can barely spot an alien-head shadow on the wall...

The DVD commentary says the alien head appears three times. Anyone have any ideas where the third appearance is?

Maybe it was lost in an edit?

PS: The first item in my NOTES section for Cannibal explains what I describe above. http://home.att.net/~save-latin/cannibal.htm if you want to check out the review for this fun film.

Now this is a movie that I truly think deserves airplay on cable tv.

I want to say that the scene with the third alien head could possibly be the  "HANG THE BASTARD, HANG EM HIGH" scene. The movie is not at my immediate viewing privelege but will have it back tomorrow to do so. Do not hold me to it on that without seeing it again. Not too many people mention this movie and it was a pleasure to hear about it.

thanks for the tip. i checked out my dvd copy. i didn't see anything in the song and the commentary doesn't mention any aliens there...

i did notice that when the alien saloon-shadow appears (something you can barely make out even if you're looking for it), that the commentary says this is the third alien...i guess, in addition to the snowman, another alien appears before the saloon scene.

it might be impossible to find...like the shadow...or it was in a scene that was edited.

i too think this is a great movie. i'm not much of a south park fan, but i really like all the movies that parker is involved with. i wish he'd make some more movies. i see there is an orgazmo straight-to-video in the works.

one of my favorite Cannibal dvd comments: (Parker talking about the extras in "Hang the Bastard")- - - "We didn't have to pay them. We just said 'if you come, we'll give you a free lunch,' which was a hot dog and beans. And for a hot dog and beans, they all came. Which is why I love Colorado. And hate it."
