Dave Munger brought up the theme song from DARKSTAR, "Benson, Arizona".
I like that song.
Its lyrics are "Filkish". Filk being folk songs ( Originaly ) from Sci-Fi Fantasy fans.
On that note....How many songs from B- movies would you like to see on one album?
There are realy two parts to this
Titles : What plays over the Beginning/closeing credits.
Imbedded : Songs that take place in the film its self.

My examples : O-Titles THE GREEN SLIME...BENSON, ARIZONA...
Imbeds : "The Jesters song"- THE COURT JESTER ( Danny Kaye."
                              C-titles : "The itsy-bitsy spider "-8 LEGGED FREAKS....
Soooooo.....
Lets make a little list, shall we? I know I can't think of 'em all!.

"Lifeday" - sung by Carrie Fisher. First I found it sick and twisted :) but after having heard it for the umpteenth time I like it...

Ditto that.  I STILL sing that song, and it's been a couple of years since I watched that movie.

The Killer Klowns song is pretty catchy, too.  I found it irritating at first, but after the movie was over, I found that it has stuck with me.

Professor Hathaway:  I noticed you stopped stuttering.
Bodie:      I've been giving myself shock treatments.
Professor Hathaway: Up the voltage.

I submit "Puberty Love" from Attack of the Killer Tomatoes--hideous, but catchy.  T'was the ultimate weapon in killing the tomatoes.

Some people like cupcakes better--I for one care less for them

I like "Partytime" and "Tonight we'll make love till we die" from Return of the living dead.

Most of the SpencerHill-Movies have very good themes. Ok, problem is, that in many of their films there is only one song played again and again throughout the whole movie in different versions - that´s in some case a little bit boring.
Nevertheless I love the typically italo-styled theme-songs of Bud Spencer/ Terence Hill -Movies.

My favourites are:
"Dune Buggy"
"Crime Busters"
"Shining Day"
"In the Middle of All the Trouble"
"Flying Through the Air"
"Movin Crusin"

True, Wench.
In fact, the second of Hill's flicks, not only has a catchy tune, played over a long shot of Nobody lazeing ina drag hammoc, towed behind his horse...but  ya  can see the horse take a dump as he walks along!
Now THATS somethin' ya don't see everyday, Chauncy!
