I'll be grateful if you can help me out here with the names of these two movies...unfortunately, the only thing I have to go on is my memory of their endings (which are quite similiar).

One ends with the heroes going away in a helicopter of some sort, and a human-ish creature which had been hanging on falls off to some rocks below. It looks like a canyon of some sort. It's sunlight out, I recall. The camera eventually does a close-up on the creature and in the last instant, it's eyes open up.

The creature looked like a man with scaly skin, some fangs, something along those lines. And it's fairly recent. No later than '95 or '94. It was probably even made-for-TV.

The second movie's ending also has the heroes escaping in helicopter. This time from some South American or African jungle where they had just been fighting a clan or group of monsters. Just when they think everything is dandy, a lone creature sticks his arm out from the back of the 'copter and grabs the hero by hte head and the woman "heroine" screams her head off. The end.

This movie I remember had that grainy look to it that makes me think it's from the 80's or 70's.

Any help, ideas, or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The first one reminds me of Danger Island: http://us.imdb.com/Title?0104049
I'm not entirely sure of the ending, but it does have a humanish monster and obviously takes place on an island, so a helicopter escape would be likely. But then theres probably loads of films similiar to that.

Will

Both of them remind me of Mind Ripper, with Lance Henrikson and Giovanni Ribisi. I can't remember exactly how the ending goes, but it's something like both of those descriptions. Could be either one.

Susan

Doesn't sound like it (the latter one) but reminds me of the Body Snatchers" 80's remake. Ended in a copter, I think the girls brother became a podperson in the chopper or something.

Naw, I recall the second movie with the jungle setting the creatures where pretty un-human, kinda like the adult creatures from the "It's Alive" series, and it's pretty sudden, and the ending is abrupt, we only see like the creature's hand and part of its head as it attacks the passengers,

In the first it's really like a human but with scales and fangs, nothing biggie. And like I said, pretty recent. He just opens his eyes, or his hand starts moving and it ends. And it was a canyon he fell on, rocks all around.

 First one doesn't ring any bells, but the second one;

>The second movie's ending also has the heroes escaping in helicopter. This
>time from some South American or African jungle where they had just been
>fighting a clan or group of monsters. Just when they think everything is dandy, a
>lone creature sticks his arm out from the back of the 'copter and grabs the hero

I'm pretty sure this one is Dance of the Dwarfs, 1983, starring Peter Fonda & Deborah Raffin. Raffin hiresFonda to fly her to a South American jungle to study a legendary tribe of pigmys, but they turn out to be lizard creatures. In the end  Raffin goes in the back of the chopper to get something and one of the creatures reaches out and grabs her then the picture freezes.

If that's not it, there's also It's Alive III: Island of the Alive, 1987. I *THINK* there was a helicopter, but I'm not sure. The creatures in that WERE adult versions of the It's Alive babies.

Yes, she realizes that he's not her brother anymore and he gets pushed/knocked out of the chopper. That was over the army base though.

>"Where you gonna go? Where you gonna run? Where you gonna hide?"

"Nowhere. Cause there's no one like you left..."

I don't know what the movies are, myself, but I know for a fact that neither movie is It's Alive III: Island of the Alive.  That particular film ends in a car, not a helicopter, and there is no shock ending as I recall.

Of course, it's been a while, so...
