This one's hard to find but worth it if you like 70s car chase movies. They don't make 'em like this anymore. A huge convoy (I'm talking like 50 or 60 ACTUAL trucks being shot at once, the excess is incredible) of truckers on the run from the law across the Southwest, led by Kris Kristofferson, who's a sort of trucker Christ figure ("I don't want to lead them, but I must"; sometimes the individual must be sacrificed for the good of the many....).

This movie, frankly, is awesome. It's right up there with "Vanishing Point" as one of the best car chase movies.

I highly recommend, if only to here Ernest Borgnine's CB chatter.
Man, what a time to make movies, getting loaded with Sam Peckinpah and driving trucks really fast through the desert....

4 slimes.

Yeah,I also heavily miss those days when Sam Peckinpaw directed some really great movies, such as this one,all proudly displayed in their full theatrical screen glory.
