Thanks for reminensing about one of the better film noir pieces from the golden era,Flan,as well as one of the better, more entertaining Mike Hammer films(with both of Larry Cohen's 80s adaptations of "I,The Jury" and "Deadly Illusion"[a.k.a."Love You To Death",featuring the screen's first black Mike Hammer, but with a slight name change]being amongst them on that list).

If I have one complaint about your capsule 'reviews', it's that basically all you include is a 'stuff to watch for' section, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense unless you've seen the movie.

Fair enough. My computer access is the public library, so i can't do the the things Andrew can.
.... The "Stuff to watch for" format works for me. As with Andrew, it makes you wonder "What the hell could have happened to make him say that?" I think it jogs your curiosity about the flick, for those who haven't seen it, and sturrs up memorys for those who have.
.... I am new at this stuff, and i appreciate Andrew allowing me to "Find an audience", so to speak. And i try not to abuse the privilige. My sence of humor works best with this format, and many good writers had to start somewhere. Badmovies.org is to budding reviewers as G-Fan is to Kaiju fans. A good place with a kind Lord (Andrew, here, J.D. Lees at G-Fan), who looks for good stuff, and will use it if it fits the material.
.... Thats my explination. Hope it makes sense.

Do you have a computer at home? If so, why not try Juno? It sucks royally, but it does work. Of course you also need a modem.

True, but a lot of times, while I might enjoy reading the review, it won't interest me enough to actually expend any effort in tracking down the movie. For example, I have a mild interest in seeing Meet the Feebles and would watch it if it came on one of the pay channels, or someone offered me a copy, but it's not something I would pay money to get. I enjoyed Andrew's review of it though.

Anyway, that's just my opinion, no insult intended. :)
