It was in the paper yesterday.
....Michael Gross IS Burt Gummer . Oh, man....who was it a while back, who said they would use Burt as the lead? Too bad ya diden't place a bet. Could have been profitable. Oh, yeah. So who wants to bet "El Blanco" the worm gets to be Burt's pet?

El Blanco WILL be a regular part of the series, whether its Burt's pet or not, I haven't the foggiest.  New monsters will also appear to keep the series interesting, if not original.

Ya know, for a second there, when I first saw the thread topic, I thought Burt Reynolds was going to star in Tremors: The Series.

This week's episode, can Smokey drive to town, pick up more ammo, and get back while being chased by the worms and Beauford T. Justice?  Hilarity ensues as Justice (played by Tom Arnold) must keep his heart rate down, lest its thumping attracts the worms.

Well, I'm sure Burt, Jerry Reed, and the guy that played Bufurd's kid would have appreciated the work...it could have been like The Dukes of Hazzard with Monster Worms eating the guest stars!

You know, that actually sounds kind of fun....I've been out in the sun too long again!

Eating the guest stars?
Sounds like a variant of the Dead guest star gag on "Police Squad".
See Bill Shatner eaten by a worm! Carrot top ripped to shreads by Walking worms! See....me not watching this thing. Three movies is enough.

Now I would watch Carrottop-- if he were getting munched by the worms.  It would have to be early in the show though.  This does sound like an interesting idea, so of course the network won't go for it.
