my latest find...3 bucks at a vid store...oversized box. i had never heard of this english puppet/stop-animation show. the tape i got is several episodes put together to run 90 minutes. the quality of the miniatures is very good and the action sequences are good as well. all-in-all a very good find. pretty funny stuff. it's about a nine year old with a computer-enhanced brain which allows him to absorb information, for example, from a russian aircraft pilot. (in that episode, the kid steals a russion mig and flies it back to england.) his dad, an inventor, even has a  car turns into a plane which seems to possibly be a forerunner to Robotech or Transformers...

anyone familiar with this show/movie???

Yeah, used to watch Joe 90 here in sunny England as a kid. Funky theme music, braniac kid and cool gadgets, as far as I remember. Did prefer Thunderbirds or Stingray, though. My younger brother had his first childhood crush on Marina in that show, for some strange reason....
