Get ready to hurl upon hearing this truly disturbing news...
"Deathwatch" writer/director Michael J. Bassett recently met with Wes Craven, who brought up the idea of remaking..........
              "The Hill Have Eyes"
Thats's right:Bassett has just accepted the directori's chair for the now-planned,and really, really unwanted remake of an untouchable horror classic.
Has Wes truly lost it?! Were there that many unanswered questions in the first film to attempt to now film this?!
I'm too disgusted to even dare think on just who will play Pluto.

Hills is a pretty intense ride, how will a remake top it???  Oh well, the family threatened by sadistic goons yarn is hardy chestnut of a popular tale to tell.  It could be good.

Has Wes EVER had it?

Wes did have it once, but that was some time ago and now he is just riding on people to use his name for a "Presents" credit.

Knowing Hollowood (not a typo), they will probably make Pluto and the gang be really nice and friendly and the real bad guys will be those who didn't treat them with "political fairness"

If the movie is good enough to remake, it should be good enough to watch. That's my thinking.

It always p**ses me off when a classic is redone, and some twits inevitably hold the knock-off up as a superior film, based on special effects and budget.

I'm not a big fan of Hills, but I understand that it was a groundbreaking film when it was made, and it influenced many that came after. It deserves recognition, but not updating.

I also agree that no current actor could play Pluto. Michael Berryman IS the Hills Have Eyes. He's prominently on the poster and his unique face is the first thing that comes to mind when I hear the title.
