If you blinked, you already missed the funniest (and sickest) new TV show of the year; "The Oblongs" on (yuck) the WB. In spite of its utterly ham-fisted social commetary--the rich Hill people dump toxic waste on the poor Valley people, leaving whole families deformed--and disturbing humors, the shows got great reviews and a gradually increasing audience. Unfortunately, WB smacked it up against "Malcolm In The Middle," and while it hasn't been cancelled, it hasn't been renewed, either.

Find a friend who taped it, and taste for yourself, or go check out clips at the warnerbros.com site. You like? OK then:

Please visit and write, and get it back on the air when, oh, three-quarters of the new WB season curls up and dies. (C'mon, it's the WB.)

I liked it too, probably the only good show the WB ever had and ever will have. I knew from the start it wouldn't last too long, especially with the subject matter. For more twisted humor check out TV Funhouse on Comedy Central before it gets cancelled. A show that involves puppets, beastiality, and other things way too bizarre for mentioning. I'm sure some fans of Meet the Feebles can appreciate it. But like all other original and bizarre TV shows, they are all cancelled fast.
