Leonard part 6

Okay this has been bothering me since I saw this movie the first time.  Why exactly was it called Leonard Part 6?  I just saw the commercial for it and all it says is in episode 1.  Were there 5 other Leonard movies that were never released?  Or maybe it was just a joke.  I never understood it.  Now excuse me while I go eat some pudding.

It was originally based on a series of novels not unlike the "Mac Bolan" serials and this movie was based on the 6th book.

I lied. I made that all up. I have no idea, It just sounded good.

if i remember the movie correctly, it was a really lame joke. in voice over i think it is explained that parts 1-5 were too top secret to reveal.
