Well, here's a little bucket of gelatinous diarrhea I think you all will love.
It's called Sssssssssssss - about some poor chap that's been injected with some "magic/evil" snake venom and turns into a scaleysideshow-looking/armless/leggless plotless *un*wonder. It's been a while since I've seen this puddle of vomit but if i recall it's pretty darn bad. well, ....no.....I KNOW it's bad.
alsmost as bad as Killdozer

Still dozing at the movies,

Fearless Freep

The Burgomaster

I had Ssssss on VHS. I sold it on Ebay when I made the transition to DVD.

This poppd up on KTVU's Creature Features on a regular basis.  Strother Martin as the Mad Scientist, Dirk Benedict (as Freep mentioned), and Richard B. Schull as a nosy Professor that gets a snacktime hug from a python he would never forget.

Producers Richard Zanuck and David Brown produced this for Universal before doing The Sting and Jaws.  Charles Band would remake Sssssss as Curse of the Puppet Master, really.  He did, honest.  You even see the late Special Make-Up effects guy clowning around with the Benedict snake prop from Sssssss in the Videozone segment that follows Curse.  At least they were some what honest about the story origins.

Brother Ragnarok

I liked Sssss, and Killdozer.  Most people just watch these things to laugh, but I actually enjoy them.

>Charles Band would remake Sssssss as Curse of the Puppet Master,

I noticed that too.

Brother Ragnarok and I seem to have a smiliar taste in films. At least, we are two of the few who admit to seeing both this one and "Killdozer." Though, he seems to have liked them better then I did.
What I will admit to, is finding--unlike some "bad" films--both this one and "Killdozer" are memorably "bad" enough that you remember seeing them.
At least, I remember Strother Martin's first victim. Probably the most memorable side show freak since the bird woman in "Freaks."
Where thjis one is also differentt from most films, is that the weresnake/snakewere is male, whereas in most films of this type--"The Reptile," "Lair of the White Worm," "Cobra Woman," and "Cult of the Cobra," which is also a good look at the New York City Beat scene of the '50's--the creature is female. Why that is, is a subject for film analysis. Enjoy the film.

Bear

It was weird. And kinda funny when the mongoose got to him at the end. That damn scientist drove me nuts. Still a good movie. Has anyone seen Rattlers?

Dunners

oh? and how does our young friend kill folks in this flick? yeah I'm a fan of cheezy gaint snake flicks, but PYTHON was inexcusable. So now I try to hear what others say abotu these goofy flicks before I even THINK abotu seeing them.

This title came up while playing the board game "Balderdash".    Those of you who know how this game works, know it ain't no fun when you know the real answer.

Thats more s's all together than I think I've ever seen before

Flangepart

I hate that title.....every time i see it, i wanna go check my tires. BTW, fix-a-flat...won't.
