I bought 5 westerns for $17 dollars at Value City Dept. Store today. Here are the titles I hope I have some winners here:

The Gatling Gun (1972)
Cry Blood Apache (1971, It's suppose to be a Speghetti Western)
Bad Man's River (Lee Van Cleef, Gina Lollabrigida)
God's Gun (Jack Palance)
Chino (Charles Bronson)

And I bought a CD called THE GREATEST WESTERN MOVIE THEMES by the Ned Nash Orchestra for $5.99 at Best Buy. Here are the titles on the CD:

Rio Bravo
Hang'm High
The Man With the Harmonica
A Fist Full of Dollars
The Magnificient Seven
Once Upon a Time in the West
My Name is Nobody
High Noon
Ballad of the Alamo
How the West was Won
Johnny Guitar
Wand'rin Star
The Comancheros
Good Luck Jack
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
For a Few Dollars More.

I listened to most of them on the way home. The first four are good, but not as good as the originals, then it gets worst. An the sound is eithier to low or when high it pierces your ears. Its an ok CD at times if you want to save a couple dollars, but now I'd like to get the Morricone Anthology CD for $32 dollars. I might wait alittle on that one. You have to order it also.

Geez, Scott, You're a glutton for punishment, if the films you bought are like the only one I've seen, which is "The Gatling Gun." The only thing that makes this film bearable (IMHO) is the cast which includes Guy Stockwell, Robert Fuller, Barbara Luna, Woody Strode, Patrick Wayne (John's son), Pat Buttram, John Carradine, Phil Harris, Carlos Riva, and Kalai Strode (Woody's son.)
You'd be better off, again (IMHO) in just listening to the cd. It seems to have all the great ones on it.
Enjoy the films though. And let us know what you think of them.

BoyScoutKevin I'm going to have to wade through these ones since I bought them the other day. Seen GOD'S GUN and it was somewhat dissappointing, yet memorable.

I already sold the CD which had a great selection of movie music to someone I know who likes westerns. Because it sounded to electronic. Now I'm thinking about getting the originals.
