Viewed GOD'S GUN today after buying the DVD. The film stars Jack Palance, Lee Van Cleef, a young Leif Garrett (70's teen idol). This one is a real stinker, but watchable. I just seen on IMDB that Palance had made 7 films that year. Van Cleef is a priest who gets shot down and his brother (played by Van Cleef) spooks the bad guy buy showing up in his priest robe. The acting by the other people in the film is horrible. Well I paid $3.99 for it. The idea of the twin getting revenge was kinda neat for a film, but it was made real cheap. Jack Palance looks like he's drunk or on drugs or something. Always had this high grin on his face all through the film.

How is the quality of the DVD? Is it widescreen? I might need to add it to my bad movie collection.

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

No wide screen on this one and a couple seens are faded out a bit, but it is watchable. Actually you won't forget this film, because of the re-appearance of the Priest (Actually theTwin Brother Gunfighter) after he was killed. What will kill you is that they play the same music all the way through the picture. That drove me nuts.

Jack Palance looks like he's on drugs ?!
What else can you expect from this early Golan/Globus(the masterminds behind Cannon Films)production, which also features Sybil Danning as the female lead, and Richard Boone as the drunken sheriff.

Last night FLIX showed GOD'S GUN and the image quality was alot better than the transfer of the DVD by Digital Works distributors.
