Wow... I'm not sure what to make of this. On a side note, there's a pretty obvious spelling error in that article: Rodan meat seems suspicious anyway, but I'd definately stay away from "Radon Meat."

Flangepart

"Rad-on" is how it's pronounced in the original soundtrack. "Ro-dan" is the americanised version. But, hey, would radon still taste like chicken?  Should this come under the heading of "Food i fear"? If a can of Godzilla meat glowed in the dark, it would bucko!

Squishy

Hee hee hee! Hee hee hee!

Screw you, Popeye! I'm gonna get big n'strong eating Godzilla Meat!

You say, roh-dan, I say rah-dohn, let's call the whole thing off and RUN!!!! It's true, "rah-dohn" is the right pronunciation. Think of it this way: Radon is a mutated pteranodon (pterodactyls have rounded skulls, pteranodons have the huge horn-like noggin). So:

(p)te-RA-no-DON

Ewwww, would King Ghidorah Meat be Godzilla Meat with gold flakes? That was actually a fad in Japan for a brief time, putting a small amount of gold flake on food. It was considered safe because it would simply pass through undigested. What a waste. What a WASTE! There was gold in them there piles!

"Godzilla vs Megagiras" should be out on Japanese video shortly, if it isn't already. I've read Sony will not be releasing it at all in the US--@#$&!#%#$!!!--but you should be able to hook a subtitled copy from Video Daikaiju very soon.

And if you don't know about it already, the director of the recent "Gamera" trilogy will be doing the next Godzilla movie. A very villianous Godzilla will be taking on the oddest team-up in kaiju history: Baragon, Mothra, and King Ghidorah!

Oookay, check... Feel kinda sheepish now, having just completed a school project about the Americanization of Godzilla movies. (In case anyone cares, the movies I used were the first one, King Kong vs..., and Godzilla 1985). You've got to admit, though, Radon Meat does sound kinda sketchy...
