Was cruising through the FYE store in the mall, killing some time this afternoon and saw a bargain bin full of VHS videos.  Unfortunately, I didn't have any cash on me at all, so it was pretty much useless.  But a title caught my eye that I had remembered hearing about before.  It was Escape from the Bronx, and it was 2.99.  I haven't really done much research on it yet, but I was planning on it very soon.  I figured I would ask my fellow b-movie fans here and see what you guys think.  Worth the trip back, or should I skip it?

Oh, yeah. Classic cheese. Lots of MST potential there...and for good reason!

there are at least two parts to that, i don't know which one it is but there is this scene where these two gangs meet and there is this guy playing drums the entire time for absolutely no reason.  they have their moments, but they aren't all that fantastic.

the "star" of that movie is also in a three part series called "thunder warrior"  i have the first part which is ok, but i havent' seen the next two.  hopefully i'll be able to watch them soon.

Don't forget that Escape from the Bronx (aka Escape 2000) is a sequel to 1990: The Bronx Warriors
