Okay . . . the whole thing started off with FIRST BLOOD, which is fine. But I'm having trouble with the numbering of the sequels.

The first sequel was RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PART II. Okay. Not very creative, but it makes sense.

Now we get to the problem. The next sequel was RAMBO III. Shouldn't this have been called RAMBO II? After all, RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PART II was the first movie with RAMBO in the title. So, technically, THAT was Rambo I. The next movie should logically be called RAMBO II, instead of RAMBO III. Am I right?

Or you could take another stance and say that the 3rd movie should be called: RAMBO II: FIRST BLOOD PART III.

Am I making too much of a big deal out of this?

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Look, it was movie number three, third in a sequence involving the same hero. End of discussion, next question please.

"Sir, if you were my husband, I would poison your drink."

--Lady Astor to Winston Churchill

"Madam, if you were my wife, I would drink it."

The reason"Rambo 3"is called like that is to match with South America.

You see,in South America the First Blood series is known as Rambo."First Blood"is"Rambo","Rambo:First Blood 2"is"Rambo 2:La Misión(Rambo 2:The Mission)"and"Rambo 3"is obviously"Rambo 3".So the directors for some reason wanted to match the original title with the South American one.
