Horror cards

I've recently had fun thinking up a slasher movie themed card game. I've based the cards on things that always seem to happen, but I need some help with suggestions...

Some of the card categories I have:
Characters, eg. Jock, Nerd, Cheerleader, Token Minority
Items, eg. Machete, Speargun, Rope
Doom cards, eg. "I'll be right back"
Events, eg. "Spring Loaded Cat", "Let's Split Up", "Twisted Ankle"
I also need to think up "Elaborate Death" cards, eg. Railing Impalement, Lawnmower Haircut

The more ideas the better!

PS: I'll explain the rules a bit if anyone's interested.

that would be really amusing.  scenario cards like 'decides to take a shower' and 'finds killer's secret identity in the dark attic' should be incorporated somehow.

Okay, I didn't phrase my post very well I guess. I've pretty much got all the rules sorted. The question I was really asking was:
What always crops up in the cheesier slasher / horror flicks?

Someone's being chased by the killer, they're gonna trip up.
Token minority characters will not survive the film.
A character backing away from something is highly likely to back into the killer.
At some point, a cat WILL jump at the camera...

There's definitely more, and I figure this board is the best place to ask.

Phone is out.

Police refuse to listen to you or else blame you for the murders.

Car will not start.

That friend that disappeared earlier?  Here they are, dead.

Stumble upon a diary that explains the whole back story.

Old man appears and yells, "You are all doomed!"

Time to go skinny dipping!

The "arming up" scene, where people hunt for weapons.

Scream for help, but nobody hears you.  (Though one or two others might say , "Did you hear something?")

Electricity is out, either by someone being fried or else a tree falls and snaps a line.

Oops!  Instead of the murderer, you stabbed your friend!  (This could be an interrupt.)

Someone who has a beef with the killer shows up to get revenge.

Useing a regular deck of cards...Club for wepons,heart for body part removed,diamond for motives of party,...humm...
Maby have a counter-cliche card...draw it, and you can ignore the "Girl trips while running" card. Like a get out of jail free....

Hero/heroine knocks out the killer, drops the weapon and walks away rather than finish him off.
Killer seems to be knocked out, but grabs someone's leg as they try to walk past him.
Someone finds body of missing friend in closet/cabinet/trunk/etc.
Power goes out.
Someone sees killer walk by window.
Someone hides in closet/cabinet/etc.
Wrong person suspected of being the killer.
Dog finds body part and carries it to their owner.
Someone pulls a practical joke that makes it look like they got killed.
A victim will mistake the killer for someone they know and let him walk right up to them.
The place where someone takes refuge will turn out to be the killer's lair.
