after spending $3.99  for this movie,i would like to say that before viewing it i had a good feeling about it..the huge box that it came in that caught my eye..the awesome cardboard graphics,featuring an awful face, kind of melting?the great intro scene with the journalist typing,and thinking,and self narrarating.there is one "zombie"that really caught my eye..a male figure with the really funny mask on..and one scene where one of the "zombie"actors mask comes off slightly and he slips it back on!! screw editing,just leave it in..but my favorite part of this incredible film,is when the old man is eating possum and talking about "THE BIG ONE"..i love to put this tape on and let it run all day! when the end comes, i just rewind it and hit play again..what a beautiful movie to have playing all day on my 27" tv..(except for when my wife is home)let's all bow,or take a knee to "ALIEN DEAD"..this movie places 2nd on my all time list...right behind the great"PSYCHO FROM TEXAS"aka"WHEELER"aka"MAD BUTCHER"....

Fred Ollen Ray thanks you for supporting his best effort yet... yes with only $5,000 Fred made this beautiful film but to me it looks like he spent $50. Yes we should all kneel before this humble movie and watch it again and again

you are right!! pardon my neglect as far as naming actual characters or writers when i post..but after (and during)viewing this film,i at times became too caught up in trying to figure out the extrordinary "special"effects,and so sucked in to the characters and beautiful storyline that developed throughout this "far too unsung masterpiece"..you are very welcome FRED OLLEN RAY..thanks for taking the time to create this film which i am sure will immortalize you..
