I wan't going to say anything, but . . .

Dick Tracy
If only to catch Warren Beatty, Charlie Korsmo, William Forsythe, Glenne Headley, Seymour Cassell, James Keane, Charles Durning, Allen Garfield, John Schuck, Charles Fleischer, Madonna, Mandy Pantinkin, Paul Sorvino, Arthur Malet, Al Pacino, R. G. Armstrong, Dustin Hoffman, Kathy Bates, Dick Van Dyke, Colm Meaney, Henry Silva, Estelle Parsons, Frank Campanella, Michael J. Pollard, James Caan, Ian Wolfe, Henry Jones, and Mike Mazurki in the same film. And watch for David Bowie in a cameo under an alias. And the shootout at the end, isn't bad either. (IMHO)

Bugsy Malone
Not only as a gangster parody, but also for the songs, which I quite like, and to see Jodie Foster in one of her earliest roles.

The Krays
which is not only properly gritty, unlike most American gangster films, but almost any British gangster film, including, but not exclusive to . . .

Night and the City
The original.. Not the remake. British film noire.

Get Carter
Again the original. Not the remake. W/ Michael Caine as a totally unlikeable hitman out to get the men who murdered his brother.

The Long Good Friday
W/ Bob Hoskins as a character almost as unlikable as Michael Caine. And Pierce Brosnan in one of his first film roles.

Enjoy all the films.
